B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (International)

The Carl Benz School of Engineering offers high school graduates the unique opportunity to study internationally renowned German engineering in English. The 3-year bachelor’s program aims to prepare future engineers for a successful career.

The KIT Online Application Portal for the B.Sc. program in Mechanical Engineering (International) at the Carl Benz School of Engineering is currently open! You can now apply to the B.Sc. program in Mechanical Engineering (International) until April 30th, 2025 for a start in the winter semester 2025/2026.

College Program, Carl Benz School

College Program

The College Program as a core part of the student experience was developed over the past 20 years to provide international students the tools, skills, and experiences they need to achieve academic and professional success.

If you are accepted to the Mechanical Engineering (International) program, you are automatically admitted in the Carl Benz School of Engineering College Program. After your admission you will receive the contract for the CBS College Program from us. To be guaranteed housing in our on-campus dormitories, we kindly ask you to sign this contract and return it to us by the deadline stated on the contract.

Pre-Semester, Carl Benz School

Pre-Semester

The Pre-Semester is an eight-week preparatory course in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and English. The course aims to provide you with the knowledge to successfully start your studies at Carl Benz School of Engineering. It takes place in August and September each year.

High School Programs

Our High School Programs adress technically interested high school students from age 16-19. Take a sneak peek into the world of Engineering! Our Winter, Spring or Summer School are the perfect opportunity to get first insights into the B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (International) College Program, the student life and possible future careers in Engineering.
