B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering (International)
The Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) is ranked #1 in employability amongst all German universities and achieves numerous top placements in the field of engineering every year (see KIT Rankings).
The B.Sc. program in Mechanical Engineering at KIT has been designed specifically for international students who do not speak German, yet want to pursue engineering studies at a leading German Technical University. In addition, the engineering courses are combined with a high level of additional services comparable to a college structure known from the Anglo-American university system (CBS College Program). These additional services are organized here at the Carl Benz School of Engineering of the KIT.
CBS College Program
The CBS College Program is designed to guide students through every phase of their academic journey, starting with an intensive orientation that includes academic on-boarding, study counseling, and administrative support to help them transition smoothly into university life. As students progress, the program evolves to focus on career development through workshops, soft skills training, and exclusive access to industry networking opportunities. Our advanced career services and internship placement support ensure that students are well-prepared to secure meaningful internships and build valuable connections, equipping them for professional success in their chosen fields.
