CBS Parents Program
The Parents Program accompanies the CBS Summer Academy’s Mechanical Engineering High School Program. While students explore engineering topics and university life at KIT, parents follow their own curated schedule that blends cultural highlights, engineering insights, and flexible time.
Parents join several of the same excursions their students attend (such as the Technomuseum Speyer or the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche Museums) but always as a separate group. Families who wish to share parts of these experiences are welcome to walk together; those who prefer to explore independently can do exactly that.
During the full-day Heidelberg trip, parents may also meet up with their children again later in the day.
At the same time, the program offers its own adult-focused experiences: elegant lunches, cultural tours, regional tastings, and scenic German landscapes. On days without scheduled activities, parents receive curated suggestions for independent exploration.
